Some people wonder how it’s possible, that things that happened to us as children, can still be impacting us now, as adults.

The answer is simple; there isn’t a point where we suddenly become an ‘adult’ our bodies get older, we may get taller, our age increases, but inside we still feel the same as when we were 3, 6, 12 or 18. The pain we felt is still our pain, the joy we experienced is still our joy and our beliefs about ourselves and the world remain largely unchanged.

Therapy can help you to understand and heal from painful experiences, you can examine how your experiences have shaped you, what coping strategies you used to survive in the world, and then decide what works and doesn’t work for you now.

You have the power to change your life and be the person you needed as a child, and I can support you throughout that process.

My name is Jen, I am a Transactional Analysis Psychotherapist. I have a Masters of Science degree in Psychotherapy and I am a Certified Transactional Analyst (CTA) and have been endorsed as a Provisional Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst (PTSTA) in the psychotherapy field.

I have specialist training and qualifications in working with people who have been subjected to sexual violence, and additional training in supporting victims of domestic abuse.

I also hold qualifications in Interpersonal Neurobiology, Education and Training and I am also a qualified Clinical Supervisor.

I am passionate about the ‘powerment’ of people and holding a protective and permissive space for my clients to grow.
