Cheryl Finch ADCA VTCT

Over the past 20 years Cheryl has nurtured a passion for complementary health care, in particular the use of essential oils to encourage healing, promote relaxation, fight infection, combat stress, skin problems and many other health conditions.

In 2002 Cheryl trained as a Reiki healer followed in 2004 by a course in Swedish Massage and finally started on her goal towards becoming a professional Clinical Aromatherapist in 2005. In March 2007 Cheryl qualified as a Clinical Aromatherapist and Swiss Foot Reflexologist with an Associate Diploma in Clinical Aromatherapy. Cheryl studied at the Penny Price Academy of Aromatherapy and Health Studies which is well-established and highly respected in the field of aromatherapy and complementary health care training.

Cheryl set up her business Vibrant Life Aromatherapy in 2007 and since that time she has continued her training in this field with advanced studies in aromatherapy as well as becoming a Reiki master and teacher, a Dorn Method Body Alignment practitioner and a Relaxation, Meditation and Mindfulness Instructor.

Treatments are tailored to each individual and can include a combination of treatment methods or as stand-alone treatments to help clients manage stress, aches and pains and other healthcare issues in a natural and effective way.

Cheryl has experience of giving therapies to adults and teenagers in health care centres, at Champneys Springs Spa, with the Derbyshire Carers Association, Burton YMCA, Motor Neurone Disease Association and Derby MS Centre. She has worked with clients with a wide range of health conditions including arthritis, fibromyalgia, back, hip and neck pain, multiple sclerosis, cancer, motor neurone disease, depression, anxiety, irritable bowel syndrome, skin conditions, hormonal conditions, circulatory and vascular conditions to name a few.

Cheryl is a Member of the International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists (IFPA) and the Dorn Method Therapists Association (DMTA).
