Being a counsellor means so much more to me than just a job, it’s a part of who I am.  I have a belief in myself and my abilities – encouraged by a complete faith in the therapeutic process – and what can be achieved.

You might be experiencing anxiousness and low moods, which can be persistent, and at times extreme.  You might even be questioning your own self-worth, or lack belief in yourself, and/or where you see your place in life, family, and society.

You may be experiencing the very real frightening consequence of trauma, past or present, this is more common than generally realised.  Trauma may be the result of emotional, physical, and sexual abuse, and can be the cause of relationship difficulties, drug or alcohol misuse, and a general decline in health, both psychological and physical.

If you have suffered loss, no matter when, and how – grief can be overwhelming – I am here to listen and offer a safe and confidential space to help and support you.

As a trauma specialist – and a humanistic counsellor, I am much more interested in what happened to you, rather than what you may have been told is wrong with you.

I am here to help you overcome whatever might be holding you back.  Life is too short to be unhappy, fearful, or unfulfilled.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Trauma Informed Practice; and a BA Honours Degree in Humanistic Counselling Practice.

I have a current enhanced DBS certificate.
