Paul is a fully qualified Sports Therapist after graduating from the University of Derby with a BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation, and an MSc in Applied Sport and Exercise Science. The courses included in-depth and advanced study in human physiology, anatomy, biomechanics, manual therapy, sports massage, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, pain and injury management and strength and conditioning.

His background blends Sports Therapy, advanced rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, and years of hands‑on work alongside leading spinal clinicians. He has also published scientific work on scoliosis and Scheuermann’s, contributing to the growing evidence base for effective, person‑centred spinal care.

His journey into rehabilitation began after a serious hand injury that required multiple surgeries and two years of recovery. That experience shaped his approach: he learned first‑hand that good rehab isn’t just about restoring function, but also about rebuilding confidence, capability, and trust in your own movement again.

Paul has since developed a highly relational, person‑centred way of working, looking beyond your symptoms to understand how your habits, beliefs, and daily movement patterns shape your experience.
