Believing that you live your best life when your mind and body are balanced and healthy, thus taking a holistic approach to preventing and reversing disease, Lisa Boudewijns practices traditional and modern Chinese medicine acupuncture at The Natural Healthcare Centre.

Lisa first experienced acupuncture in 2001 for a painful low back when a friend recommended an acupuncturist. I was sceptical that having needles in my body would help my sore back, however, it worked wonders and all these years later I still go to the same acupuncturist whenever I can to stay healthy. Lisa’s background is in horses, training, breeding, and competing (hence my sore back all those years ago)! Alongside her recently embarked on career as an acupuncturist, Lisa also home-educates her two younger children, which is a full-time job in itself. Four years ago, she decided to re-train to become an acupuncturist, and having completed two years at The Northern collage of Acupuncture, she decided to complete her training with Total Therapy.

Lisa’s practice is founded on the belief that we must promote health through balance; balance in diet, sleep, exercise, relaxation, emotions and lifestyle. Her goal is to provide a treatment that can reverse and prevent disease using the fundamental healing principles of the body.
